Adding a Ally concept would also be nice as they could help defend against others. I should also be able to invite those I don't have IDs for since the game doesn't allow you to share your id in-game. you should be able to remove an ally, especially if they keep attacking you. This is one of my favorite features of the game as I love studying other attack strategy, so let's make it more accurate. Why? More attributes to upgrade in less time means I log in more. How about 1 day for health, 1 day for damage, 1 day for range, and so on. Instead of 10 days to upgrade a units health, damage, etc. Plus, I'm running out of things To upgrade. Frankly, it's boring to wait 10 days for a unit upgrade. RESEARCH/ UPGRADES - the time and/or cost is a bit ridiculous for some upgrades.
And preventing people from building near buggy edges/borders of the map. It is already difficult to defeat certain layouts, and more islands could make it more difficult, but this could be resolved by adding better unit control. We need more islands, and with more unit/structure types and unit/structure control, we could add more islands without it having a negative impact on people trying to attack.

MORE SPACE - most islands are pretty maxed out in space, especially those that know how to maximize fortifications (eg Honeycomb layout).
